Why meditation is good for you?

The trend of mindfulness and practicing meditation have significantly increased for the last few years. Why so many people have to pay attention to this practice?

I’m one of the people who has been practicing meditation and mindfulness method for at least 10 years. I’ve seen the progress of practicing meditation and initiate it to be my daily routine. I know some of you will raise your perfect brows like who the * is this girl. You don’t look like someone who meditates. One more thing you don’t know about me is I’m super calm, and it takes me a lot of reaches my hot temper even in chaos.

I used to work in a place that involved with a lot of different people energy, having all these energies all at once is not a good idea. Having a strong consciousness from practicing meditation absolutely help me throughout those problematic time. It is like you have a bubble wrap all over yourself to protect you from negativity and many irrational thoughts. Lots of people might say you have to practice in a certain way or you have to follow a specific pattern but to be honest with you it is not about what you support or which method works best for everyone. It is all about YOU and your practice you can explore many different types of meditations but it will lead to one thing is concentration. You have to clear up your monkey mind and concentrate on one thing while you are in your practicing. Either focussing on your breath or visualizing your spirit and stay focus on that. For example, my way of practicing is imagining myself in the green grass field under the big tree and keep concentrate on that vision and the breath. Another practice that works with me is practice yoga, especially in the early morning.

As a result after a month of practice this mindfulness method, I can see myself getting better on concentration and routine. I’m not longer need to set an alarm clock anymore. Also, my brain is more clear and trends to figure out things quicker.
